Engineered for commercial facilities and elite home gyms, Irwin Fitness Urethane Dumbbells pair solid-steel construction with a heavy-duty CPU urethane coating. Built to handle constant high-impact use, they deliver long-term durability, exact weight balance, and a clean commercial aesthetic.

Solid Steel Core & One-Piece Weld: Features solid steel weight heads threaded into the core then permanently welded to a hardened chrome handle, creating an indestructible one-piece assembly with no mechanical fasteners to loosen over time.
CPU Urethane Encapsulation: Encased in premium virgin CPU urethane that resists chipping, scratching, and UV degradation while protecting facility flooring during heavy drops.
Comfortable Medium Knurling: Machined with a medium-density knurl pattern to provide a secure grip without tearing up hands during heavy volume sets.
Scaled Handle Diameters: Engineered with 32mm handles for weights up to 45 lbs, stepping up to a thicker 34.5mm handle on 50 lb to 100 lb dumbbells for improved grip mechanics on heavy presses.
Clear Molded Markings: Finished in a matte black surface with high-visibility weight numbers and the IFS logo.

Why Choose Urethane Over Rubber?

Unlike standard rubber dumbbells—which can chip, degrade, off-gas, or fade under sunlight—CPU urethane is significantly harder and more tear-resistant. It holds its shape, eliminates rubber odor, and retains a fresh shop-floor appearance through years of daily commercial abuse.
