Features: Experience a large working inside depth of 41" and a rear depth of 20" between posts the P-690 was designed for your comfort and functionality. We've reduced the width of a standard rack from 49" to 47", ensuring ample room for smooth barbell re-racking along with increased compatibility with specialty barbells.

  • (8) plate storage posts with included rubber washers for added convenience
    • (4) 12" posts
    • (4) 8" posts
  • Flush horizontal crossmembers, providing an extra 3" of overhead pressing room within the rack

    New 50% Metal Tariff (Effective Immediately)

    Due to recently implemented U.S. import tariffs, all Irwin Fitness orders shipped to the United States are now subject to an additional charge.

    • Approximately 70% of your total order value reflects the metal content.
    • A 50% tariff is applied only to that metal portion.
    • In simple terms, the tariff equals roughly 35% of your total order value.

    This fee is set by the U.S. government and collected on import. We do not profit from it — it is strictly a pass-through cost.

    Shipping to the U.S.

    We now ship nationwide across the United States using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service — meaning no surprise fees on delivery.

    • Flat Rate Shipping:
      $650 CAD / $478 USD for LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments to U.S. terminals
    • Includes all broker and bond fees
    • Rate applies to terminal pickup only (customers are responsible for home transport)
    • Orders typically arrive at terminals faster than residential deliveries.

    Residential Delivery:

    Available upon request before checkout (a surcharge applies).

    Customs & Documentation

    We handle all brokerage through Noatum Logistics, or you may use your own U.S. Customs Broker.

    For LTL shipments, an IRS or SSN number is required for clearance (not needed for UPS).

    All shipments are subject to state taxes and U.S. Customs fees; Irwin Fitness does not collect or retain these charges.

    Canadian Shipping

    We strive to secure the best possible freight rates across Canada.

    If you live in a remote or rural area, additional delivery charges may apply. You’ll be contacted before your order ships and can either approve the extra cost or receive a full refund.

    To reduce costs:

    • Pick up at a nearby freight terminal
    • Ship to a business with a forklift or loading dock
    • Offload yourself if equipped to do so

      New 50% Metal Tariff (Effective Immediately)

      Due to recently implemented U.S. import tariffs, all Irwin Fitness orders shipped to the United States are now subject to an additional charge.

      • Approximately 70% of your total order value reflects the metal content.
      • A 50% tariff is applied only to that metal portion.
      • In simple terms, the tariff equals roughly 35% of your total order value.

      This fee is set by the U.S. government and collected on import. We do not profit from it — it is strictly a pass-through cost.

      Shipping to the U.S.

      We now ship nationwide across the United States using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service — meaning no surprise fees on delivery.

      • Flat Rate Shipping:
        $650 CAD / $478 USD for LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments to U.S. terminals
      • Includes all broker and bond fees
      • Rate applies to terminal pickup only (customers are responsible for home transport)
      • Orders typically arrive at terminals faster than residential deliveries.

      Residential Delivery:

      Available upon request before checkout (a surcharge applies).

      Customs & Documentation

      We handle all brokerage through Noatum Logistics, or you may use your own U.S. Customs Broker.

      For LTL shipments, an IRS or SSN number is required for clearance (not needed for UPS).

      All shipments are subject to state taxes and U.S. Customs fees; Irwin Fitness does not collect or retain these charges.

      Canadian Shipping

      We strive to secure the best possible freight rates across Canada.

      If you live in a remote or rural area, additional delivery charges may apply. You’ll be contacted before your order ships and can either approve the extra cost or receive a full refund.

      To reduce costs:

      • Pick up at a nearby freight terminal
      • Ship to a business with a forklift or loading dock
      • Offload yourself if equipped to do so

      The best built, most bombproof rack I’ve ever seen.

      I’m confident this rack would survive anything that any lifter on earth can subject it to. The little touches (laser-cut numbers, colour matched name plate, and upgraded hardware) push it over the top. Worth the premium for a Canadian made rack of this quality. Garth is very responsible to questions as well, which inspires confidence in his products.

      The only wish is that it came with detailed instructions for assembly for those less handy individuals like myself.

      You know how your mom or grandmas cookies are better than store bought? Because they’re made with extra care and love? That is the reason why this Irwin Fitness rack is so good. You can see the passion in every piece.

      This rack perfectly blends form and function. They solved every nitpicky concern I had with other brands and then, through their endless customization options, made it better looking than other brands too. And that’s what really sets them apart. At the end of the day, a rack is there to hold weight and a bar safely. Some brands to this better than others, and Irwin Fitness is one of those brands, but there is a ceiling. A rack can only be so good at holding weight. At that point, you turn to other factors to decide where to put your money. As the centerpiece of your gym, you want it to look good and IFS makes racks and benches that are practically a work of art.

      You also want great customer service and Garth and his team offer the best customer service I’ve ever received. It’s not a budget rack but you 100% get what you pay for and I think it is an amazing value compared to similarly priced racks from Rogue and Sorinex.

      I got the P-690 rack as well as the Toro Bar, Atlas Bars, Stainless Storage Pins as an upgrade, 2 extra top cross members, straps and heavy hex hardware throughout to match everything. I also had the band hangar and 3 bar hangar modified for rack mounting versus wall mounted. I installed them on the back of the nameplate banner. This works perfectly for my setup. The extra top cross members provide more mounting options and also stiffen up the rack. Irwin custom made my uprights for 88 inch so that my space works. I researched all over for vendors and I was unable to find anyone
      offering custom uprights on 3x3 racks with 1 inch hardware and 2 inch hole spacing. Irwin was able to do this for me.

      I was given a custom quote in order to facilitate this purchase. Everything was timely as well as updates via email. Crating and packing was very well done and nothing was scratched or damaged. Once shipped, it was quick and simple with a tracking #.

      I would highly recommend Irwin Fitness for quality and attention to detail and willingness for custom. All the welds are spot on and the gear is sturdy. As a satisfied customer, I look first to Irwin for any additional equipment purchases before going to any other 3x3 compatible vendor.
